Candidate Testing Services
Getting the right candidate to fill a vacancy within your business can take a significant amount of time, and money, and doesn't always mean you get the person with the required skills for the role.
Nuts and Bolts It allows you to save time and resources by testing each candidate, with the same test, meaning that you only spend time with those that have the skills and knowledge required.
Hover over any of the below to see an explanation of the feature.
Open Tests
Create a test, advertise the link and allow anyone to register themselves and take the test.
You then only pay for those candidates you want to view the contact details for, after you've seen their score.
Closed Tests
Allows you to create a test and have it completed only by candidates you pre-enter.
This is ideal when you know the candidates you want to test or are using the Nuts and Bolts It system to analyse potential candidates or reviewing your existing staff.
Results Analysis
Not only can you see the percentage score for each test, you can also view each question the candidate answered and what they input/selected.
The ability to drill-down and analyse results for each candidate in such detail means the Nuts and Bolts it system is incredibly powerful.
Multiple Choice Questions
Enter a question, specify the correct option and then the incorrect ones.
When the candidate is taking the test, they have the option of selecting one or many of the options and the score is calculated on the accuracy of their selection.
Open Response Questions
Allows you to add essay-type questions, of those where a full sentence is required to be input for analysis.
This can also be used to ask the candidate direct questions, such as to tell you a little about themselves, explain what they would do in a certain situation or anything else where a one-word answer isn't enough.
Keyword Analysis Questions
Ask the candidate to enter an answer into a textbox, and then check the answer against a series of keywords.
The candidates score is then calculated by the accuracy of their answer to match that which is required.
This can be used to test for spelling, word-association and with technical questions where the candidate should know a full answer without the aid of a multiple-choice scenario.
Image-Based Questions
Upload images with your questions, meaning that a candidate can be asked a question based on the image on screen.
This is ideal for scenarios such as identifying elements of schematic diagrams, showing knowledge of a subject by knowing what may be wrong or missing in an image, or it can even be used to test colour-blindness.
